Well, this has been a difficult week. I appreciate everyones prayers. Last night was a great service. I really needed to focus on the life and love of God, which the Lord's Supper forces me to do. Because of the previous events of the week, I have really questioned whether God can heal all of the deep hurts in our lives or does God simply give us the grace to endure them. The service last night brought some healing for me. I often focus on my own pain, but this week has allowed me to see and understand the pain other people in my family carry. I will take this new understanding as a blessing because, for some reason, I want to care for them more and it opens up a new dimension to our relationships.
